Planned Water Outage in Mareeba – Tuesday, 18 March 2025

There will be a planned interruption to water supply between 9am and 3pm on Tuesday, 18 March 2025 for residents on the north side of Mareeba.
 
The temporary shutdown is required to undertake necessary works to the water main. Council aims to restore water supply as quickly as possible.
 
The following streets will be impacted:

• Starcke St
• Rice St
• Finn St
• Fraser St
• Ward St
• Horan St
• Royes St
• Dillon St
• Recovery Way
• Mareeba Cemetery
• Hampe St
• Moody St
• Blacks Rd
• Mulligan Hwy
• Montagliani Cl
• Sunrise Cl
• Refes Cl
• Dawson Rd
• Bowers St
• Thora Cleland Dr
• Martin Tenni Dr
• Gowan St
• Keegan St
• Effley St
• Barrett St
• Ismahil Rd
• Adil Rd
• Hickling Ave
• Avolio Dr
 
In some instances, your water may appear milky after a water interruption. This is caused by small air bubbles in the pipes. If you experience discoloured water, we recommend running water from the closest tap to the water meter for a few minutes or until the water runs clear to release any air.
 
If the water remains discoloured for more than 10 minutes, please report it to us on 1300 308 461, as we may need to investigate further.

When water supply has been restored, the relevant outage will be removed from the list.
